Registration Is Open

For those that may not know, registration is now officially open for the Oly Clinic on Jan 29th. You can register and take care of payment online by clicking this link REGISTER.

Remember that this clinic will serve as an introductory session to kick off our 8 week Oly Club Program.  You must attend the clinic in order to take part in the Oly Club Program.  However, you can attend the clinic and choose not to follow up with the 8 week Oly Club Program.  We would obviously recommend that you follow up the clinic with the Oly Club Program because it takes a lot of consistent work and practice to build high levels of strength, power, and Olympic lifting ability.  For those that choose to take part in the Oly Club Program it will cost $20 per month, which will simply be added to your CF RED membership.  This $20 monthly charge, as well as a portion of the clinic fee goes into a dedicated account for new Olympic lifting equipment like good bars for men and women, high quality kilo bumpers, portable squat stands, and jerk/pulling boxes. You will be able to register for the Oly Club Program via the "Packages & Contracts" section of the CF RED website next week.

Oly Club will train on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights at 7:30pm starting 1-30-12.  We recommend that you train only Oly Club on these days, and WOD on Tuesday and Friday/Saturday.  Patrick will be coordinating the WOD's on Tuesday and Friday to consider the movements and loads being used in the Oly Club Program.  Remember you make performance gains by training hard enough to break down your body and force an adaptive response, then letting your body RECOVER and doing it again.  We think that having 3 Oly sessions, 2 metcon WOD's, and 2 rest days per week is the right balance to maintain or even make small gains in conditioning while putting the emphasis of training during this 8 weeks on improving strength, power, and Olympic lifting ability.  We recommend that everyone follow this layout for the first week. Then if you feel your recovery ability and overall work capacity could adequately handle additional training, you should work with one of the coaches to develop a plan for how to expand your program.

Get registered for the clinic and decide to train with the Oly Club for the next 8 weeks.  Make the commitment to become a more powerful athlete...like this guy D. Klokov.
